摘要：Down Syndrome with an incidence of 1:600-800, is one of the commonest genetic cause of mental retardation. Multiple co- morbidities have been known to occur along with Down syndrome including cardiac anomalies (40%), gastrointestinal malformations, seizures, thyroid disorders, arachnoid cysts, and psychiatric disorders. Dandy-Walker Syndrome is a rare congenital brain malformation characterized by hypoplasia and upward rotation of the cerebellar vermis, cystic dilation of the fourth ventricle and enlargement of the posterior fossa. The disorder is very rarely known to co-exist with Down syndrome. Moreover, hypothyroidism, although is known to occur with Down syndrome, rarely occurs in correlation with dandy walker syndrome. This is a case report of co-existence of Dandy Walker syndrome, trisomy 21 karyotype and hypothyroidism in a 5 year hyperactive male child with main focus on management
