摘要:The need to identify the role of critical Thinking within teaching and learning is important in order to develop and improve the quality of education at all levels and for all learners. The literature has been divided over the different definitions of what is meant by critical Thinking let alone approaches to develop it within education programmes. The focus of this article is to suggest that there may need to be further consideration of critical Thinking in terms of adult learners and the learning environments, in which they are involved. It suggests that mature learners may have developed critical Thinking skills through experience in addition to the learning opportunities and that these additional experiential skills have yet to be properly accepted or indeed explored
