El artículo analiza los actuales desafíos políticos y económicos del gobierno argentino después de su primer año de gestión. Hay tres grupos de problemas: las restricciones estructurales internas, de raíz socioeconómica; las restricciones externas, relacionadas con la evolución de la economía mundial; y el problema político, la recreación de un centro de poder con suficiente capacidad para adelantar un curso de políticas públicas orientadas al desarrollo económico, la modernización del Estado y la sutura de la brecha social.

This article analyzes the current challenges faced by the Argentine government after its first year in power. There are basically three broad types of problem: structural internal restrictions; external restrictions, related to the evolution of the world economy; and the political problem of how to create a nucleus of power sufficient to promote public policies designed to stimulate economic development, modernize the State and confront the growing social inequalities.
