摘要:Question: Can the niche services of individuallibrarians across multiple libraries be developed into asuite of standard services available to all scientiststhat support the entire research lifecycle.Setting: Services at a large, research-intensive stateuniversity campus are described.Method: Initial data were collected via conceptmapping by librarians. Additional data were collectedat conferences and meetings through interactive posterpresentations.Main Results: Services of interest to scientists for eachof the stages in the research lifecycle were developedby the team to reflect the wide range of strengths ofteam members in aggregate.Conclusion: Input from researchers was the mosteffective tool for developing the model. A flexibleresearch lifecycle model can be developed to matchthe needs of different service groups and the skills ofdifferent librarians
