摘要:Due to the turn of the government policy to-wards the reorganization of the entire railway system of Rus-sia there was a gradual nationalization of private first unprofit-able railways in 1880. These include the Kursk-Kharkov-Azov line. The article describes the historical necessity of it being nationalized by the government. The reasons due to which there was a delay in the implementation of the redemption procedure are analyzed in the article. The author gives a de-tailed analysis of the problems associated with the redemp-tion and draws the conclusion that the process was neces-sary though costly
