摘要：This article is devoted to the description of compound sentences with subordinate clauses of condition as units of communication and also makes an attempt of analysing connection of order of parts and functional sentence perspective with semantics of conditional sentences. The aim of the article is to show semantic and functional peculiarities of compound sen-tences with a hypothetical subordinate clause using grammatical, communicative, logic and pragmatic ap-proaches
