摘要：Тhe article is devoted to drug abuse preven-tion by army psychologists as a guarantee of experts' reli-ability. The author specifi es the concept of expert's reliabil-ity. On the basis of the analysis of foreign and domestic practice it is shown that the integral part of expert's reli-ability is drug abuse prevention in which the psychologi-cal component is of special signifi cance. Legal documents regulating anti-drug abuse campaign in the Russian Armed Forces have been studied, with a special focus being made on the psychological component of preventive measures. The role of psychologists in solving the adequate problem in US Armed Forces has been analyzed and a conclusion that the two national armies have essentially different tac-tics in dealing with drug-abuse has been made
