摘要:In South Australia, human infection withSalmonellaZanzibar is uncommon. The last reported case of infectionwith this serovar was in 1995. In May 2001, 2 (1 male,1 female, age range: 26 to 31 years) cases ofSalmonellaZanzibar were investigated by the Communicable DiseaseControl Branch, Department of Human Services, SouthAustralia. Hypothesis generating interviews sought demo-graphic, illness, employment, travel, social activities,restaurant/take-away food consumption and animal contactinformation for the 7 day period prior to the onset ofsymptoms
