摘要:The purpose of this research is to determine the effectiveness of two learning models in improving the physical fitness of junior-high-school students. The samples for this quasi experimental research were 40 junior high school students chosen randomly from a population of 96. The instrument used to measure physical fitness is the Indonesian Physical Fitness Test (TKJI). Data is analyzed by using t-test. Data analysis showed that the game-modification learning model can significantly improve the student physical fitness, the conventional learning model did not improve the student physical fitness significantly, and the game-modification learning model is better in improving the physical fitness than the conventional learning. Therefore, it can be concluded that the game-modification learning model is better in improving students’ physical fitness than the conventional learning model.
