摘要：The paper examined guidance and counselling profession in Nigeria, which is recognized to have existed in Nigeria since 1959. Against the backdrop of poor recognition of the profession in Nigeria, this paper examined the status of the profession and provided ways of making the field a recognizable height in Nigeria.
