摘要：At the last meeting of the Medical Library Association there was appointed by the Presidenit a coniniittee conisistinig of Dr. Garrisoni, Mr. Ballard anid Mr. Franikeniberger to consider the question of library statistics and their relationi to the special mnedical library. Your comnlittee lhas corresponded with a number of the larger medical libraries andlhave also made it a poinit to get in touch with some of the large public libraries. The Council of the Americani Library Association adopted in Dec. 1914, a schedule for reporting statistics of free public libraries, and it is lnow workinig through a special comlmiliittee onI anotlher schedule applicable to libraries other than the average free public library. This Special Commlittee has prepared a tentative schedtule and througli the kindlness of Mr. Anldrews of the John Crerar Library, we have received a copy of this proposed form. It is the opiniioni of your Committee that these schedules are too comprehensive for the use of the average mledical library and we have prepared a modified form which is attached to this report.
