摘要：In his presidential address before the Medical Library Association, May 21, 1920, Col. Garrison pointed out very clearly the difference between subject bibliography and shelf classification, a difference which should be constantly born in mind by medical librarians and their assistants. In the following report of your Committee, the word Classification is to be understood as meaning shelf classification only.
