摘要：The purposes of the Executive Committee in inaugurating this Membership Campaign, have been three fold. It was the prime desire that the interest of the medical profession in our Association might be increased by bringing into personal membership those who have at heart the welfare of medical libraries. Equally important was the need to extend the privileges of Association membership to all Medical libraries now eligible. From this came the third feature of the campaign,-a brief survey of medical libraries, particularly of those not now included in our membership list, state by state and province by province. The task is a large one, and the end is not yet, but we are glad to report some progress and earnestly solicit the aid of each librarian in the furtherance of our ideals.
