摘要:The Aslib Guides are intended ultimately to form a new edition of the nowout of print 1928 Aslib Directory. The Guides are issued at irregular intervals in pamphlet form with wide margins and punched holes suitable for inclusion in a loose-leaf binder. Each pamphlet covers one well defined field, such as Agriculture. The most recent Guide-No. 3 (Beverages and Food) is in three sections. Section 1 contains a brief statement about the interlibrary loan services of the National Central Library, and a brief description of the resources and services of relevant libraries not organized primarily for Beverages and Foods, such as the Science Museum Library and the Patent Office Library. There is also a statement of the activities of the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research.
