摘要:The job of the librarian in a nursing school is to act as the bond between the person seeking knowledge and the information which is available. She can bestdo this if she is cognizant of the literature available in the field and if she becomes an integral part of the teaching program of the school. To do the latter, the nursing school librarian should be a member of the faculty, chairman of- a dynamic library committee which includes some student representation, and member of other pertinent faculty committees. She should give talks on the library and on new books and should aid the faculty in keeping abreast of the literature in their fields.
