摘要:1HE librarian cynic, reading the literature of librarianship, must certainly conclude that library co-operation has three conspicuous characteristics: We talk about it a great deal; in spite of all our talk our accomplishments are very modest indeed; and co-operation is a little like religion-on Sundays and special days, we have an abiding faith in it, but somehow from Monday to Saturday we are too busy to practice what we preach.
