摘要:Miss Alice E. McCaffrey, Librarian of the Medical Library of Cincinnati General Hospital, died suddenly on February 28, 1963, at age 54. A native Cincinnatian, Alice received a B.S. in education from the University of Cincinnati in 1930. Her first full-time position was in the Catalog Department of the University Library from 1930 to 1935, when she became Assistant Medical Librarian of the General Hospital Library. In 1947 she took full charge of this library, which has the largest medical collection of this region. In addition to being a member of the Special Libraries Association, Alice was also a certified member of the Medical Library Association.
