摘要:The organization of the subject approach to medical literature constitutes one of the greatest challenges to the health sciences librarian. Everyone in the profession is concerned with some aspect of this problem, and positive contributions toward improving knowledge concerning it are needed. This compilation by Eugene Muench, of the New York University Medical Center Library, provides a novel and worthwhile approach. This convenient listing of the two greatest medical subject authority lists will be useful to both the cataloger and the reference librarian.
