摘要：Readers of the present issue of the Bulletin will notice the absence of the familiar newsconveying departments which have long been a feature of the journal. A quarterly journal whose primary purpose is the publication of professional articles is not, as pointed out earlier in the Bulletin (April 1972, p. 346), a suitable medium for disseminating news. Accordingly, News Items and International Notes have been transferred to the monthly MLA News.
