Blake just as the Medical Library Association is holding its annual meeting in Cleveland, because this event would have been dear to her heart for two reasons: Mildred Blake began her library career in Cleveland, Ohio, and she took active roles in the Medical Library Association for several decades. To many who will be gathering there her spirit will be hovering over their thoughts.
