摘要：Like the curate's egg and in common with many conference proceedings, this volume is "good in parts." It suffers badly from the editors' decision to produce the volume by "the simplest possible method" and not to edit the papers submitted or to ensure that at least the majority were provided with a basic list of references. Only three of the over twenty papers have such a list and though this is not uncommon in conference proceedings, it does not reflect well on a volume produced by and, one presumes, for, librarians under the auspices of a library association.
