摘要：Meiss and Jaeger have brought out a second annual edition of their useful reference aid. It has been expanded from last year's volume with the inclusion of thirty-six new journals for a total of 141 titles. The reproduced pages are large andclear, and the volume's binding permits easy photocopying. In addition to the actual instructions to authors, the editors have included reprints of those pages which list editorial boards, journal logograms, lists of journal-approved abbreviations, and discussions of content expectations. A one-page appendix lists four standard sources of abbreviations and four style manuals with prices and ordering information. The subject index of titles, which includes thirty-eight headings and twenty-four see references, can serve as a first step to authors who wish to locate an appropriate journal to publish a particular article.
