摘要：After having been a librarian in a medical library for twenty years, during which time I was a regular reader of your journal, I feel that I should commit to print what I have often said in private: namely, that the excellence of the Bulletin has been a great help to me in my career. It seems that every new issue contains an article or articles which are of special significance to the particular situation of our library at the time of publication. For me your journal has had an undoubted educational value. Medical libraries are not as numerous in our country as they are in the United States, and your publication helps dispel the feeling that one is working in relative isolation.
