摘要：In "A medical library's response to Three Mile Island," by M. Sandra Wood, Angelica Thevos- Leskawa, and Cheryl A. Capitani (Bull Med Libr Assoc 1980 April; 68:242-4) the authors refer to their vertical file containing "a MEDLINE search on the effects of nonionizing radiation on humans." This appears to be an error in that the type of radiation relevant to Three Mile Island is ionizing radiation. If it is not just a proofreading error, it is a serious oversight in the search strategy.
