摘要：The January 4, 1983, issue of the Federal Register contained the proposed conditions of participation by hospitals in Medicare and Medicaid programs sponsored by the Health Care Financing Administration (HCFA) of the Department of Health and Human Services [1]. One proposed change directly affects hospital libraries: to delete the condition that addressed medical libraries, as "we believe this should not be a federal requirement, but that each hospital should have the flexibility of deciding if it wants to have a medical library."
