摘要:The value of U.S. agricultural exports in fiscal 1992 is expected to turn up, recovering virtually all of last year's decline. An updated forecast from the U.S. Department of Agriculture recently suggested that the tally for the year ending in September would reach $40 billion, up $1 billion from the previous forecast and $2.5 billion above last year's mark. The volume of all agricultural export shipments is now projected to reach 134.5 million metric tons, up 4 tons from the previous forecast and 5 tons above the reduced level of last year. Due to the continuing weakness in corn shipments, however, the overall tonnage for this year will remain well below the level of two years ago.
