摘要：Global warming is likely to reduce agricultural pro-duction in the Tropics, where many developing countriesare located. Policy options that could help farmers adapt tochanging climates include encouraging agronomicresearch, providing irrigation or increasing its efficiency,maintaining or improving flood control, and facilitatinghuman migration. Despite recent advances in analyzing theeconomic impacts of global warming, however, informa-tion about climatic threats to food security in developingcountries is still extremely limited.
