摘要:Recent changes in livestock num-bers, the types of livestock raised, andthe size and location of livestock-rearingfacilities throughout Minnesota and theU.S. are expected to pose severe chal-lenges to a transportation network builtfor an earlier era. To help governmentand industry officials anticipate futuretransportation requirements, we calcu-lated how much of each year's crop ofMinnesota corn and soybeans is fed tolivestock, and how much remains to beshipped to other states and countries.
