摘要:After increasing 2.1 percent in 1999, the Consumer Price Index (CPI) for all food is expected toincrease 2 to 3 percent in 2000. Food at home is projected to increase 2 to 2.5 percent while foodaway from home should increase 2.5 to 3 percent. The 1999 increase of 2.1 percent was the smallestincrease for all food CPI since 1992 when the increase was 1.2 percent. This follows the baselineprojection of an average growth rate of 2.1 percent from 1999 to 2009.
