As the preface states, the bookattempts to tackle an issue that is not a simple one, in fact, a practical andacceptable de￠nition of sustainable forest management is still to be de￠ned.However, the author has successfully captured the essential aspects ofsustainable forest management in a way that assists the reader in clarifyingthe issue.
