摘要：This paper investigates the impact of environmental regulations on market structure using aMarkov analysis to quantify relationships among macroeconomic variables, environmentalregulation expenditures and firm size distribution in the pulp and paper. Results show thatenvironmental regulation affects the probabilities of capacity moving from one company sizecategory to another and of staying in the same category.
