摘要：These were some of the major messages thatemerged from a Fourth Workshop on AgriculturalTransformation in Africa, involving a group ofprominent African researchers, policy makers, andprivate sector representatives from 16 countries.The workshop (held in Nairobi, Kenya, in June1999), the fourth in a series sponsored by USAID'sAfrica Bureau, was organized by Tegemeo Instituteof Egerton University, the Eastern and CentralAfrica Program on Agricultural Policy Analysis(ECAPAPA), and Michigan State University.
