摘要：Over the past couple of years, this session of the Forum has been devoted to presenting abrief overview of the U.S. farm economy in the context of world developments and a discussionof how USDA policies and programs are operating in connection with the farm economy. Today, we will again follow that outline. I will provide the overview of the farm economy, andUnder Secretary Schumacher will discuss trade, policy and program developments.
