摘要:Precision farming has the potential to increase farm productivity, lower input costs and increase expected returns. Despite these potential benefits, the adoption of precision farming technology in Australia has been relatively slow. One of the reasons for this is the lack of information regarding the technology. This study investigated the information needs of farmers in relation to precision farming. The study was conducted in Western Australia and involved interviews with 400 farmers. The study identified current information gaps and information needs of farmers in relation to precision farming.
