摘要：I will present an overview of experience in applying seasonal climate forecasts to agriculture in the Southeast US. The El Ni.o-Southern Oscillation (ENSO) exerts a substantial influence on the climate and diverse agricultural production systems of the region. Predictability of ENSO and its influence on climate and agriculture represents an opportunity to adjust decisions to either mitigate impacts of adverse conditions or take advantage of favorable conditions.
