摘要：Amyloidosis results from the deposition of insoluble fibrillar proteins in various tissues. Cardiac symptoms, when present, are usually related to congestive heart failure or arrhythmias. Amyloid involvement of the aortic root is exceedingly rare. We describe a case of aortic root amyloidosis in a patient with a long-standing history of polyarteritis nodosa.
