摘要：After a discussion of the basic concepts and a review of existing research, the author outlines a preliminary research project on the social consequences of bilocation in migrant families which the Institute for Migration and Nationalities in Zagreb intends to carry out in collaboration with the Institute of Social Work of the city of Zagreb. The project shall study bilocated families, or migrants respectively, that have been registered as social cases by the pertinent services in the city of Zagreb. The aim of the project is to identify and classify the social consequences of bilocation in migrant families, and to indicate possible ways of eliminating or alleviating observed negative traits.
