摘要：This “last lecture” is to my fellow academics in information systems. My lecture has two parts: Part I presents personal career advice for my colleagues. I have had many successes and some failures, and I have observed the careers of many faculty members and doctoral students. I will summarize my observations as actionable advice about being a successful academic while being a happy, contributing human being. The second part is how I see the future of our field. I have seen huge changes and there are more to come. I am optimistic, and I will share my views and the reasons for them with you.
