摘要：The CRP Department has been a leader in research and education in the areas of urban disaster risk reduction, prevention, mitigation, and post-recovery. The international symposium held in 2005 and its proceedings published by FOCUS are examples of that. Lecturer Ken Topping writes about the revision of the California State Multi-Hazard Mitigation Plan, a major applied research project undertaken by the CRP Department.
