摘要：This paper will explain the law and consider the legal issues relating to security interests in intellectual property in Australia. The focus of the paper is directed to five intellectual property rights, namely, patents, registered designs, copyrights, registered trade marks and domain names. The overall question that this paper attempts to answer is whether a lender would be wise to lend money where intellectual property is the main form of security.
