摘要：I have not read The Advocate’s Notebook, by Mr Anthony Young, from cover to cover. It is not the kind of book that one picks up and reads from beginning to end. It is more akin to an encyclopaedia. I have heard of people who read (or claim to read) the entirety of encyclopaedias, but most people I think refer to them only if and when the need arises.
