摘要：Extract: Marxist theorists, like musical theatre writers, seem to come in pairs. Following the intellectual tradition established by Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels in the mid-eighteenth century, a long lineage of Marxist co-writers has emerged to deconstruct and subsequently reharmonise communist theory in response to evolving circumstances.
