摘要：New academic librarian takes on formal classroom role, as adjunct assistant professor, due to shortage of library education faculty in a library media program. Describes development of an undergraduate children’s literature course. Discusses incorporation of web course software, online readings, and evaluative assignments for undergraduates. Gives examples of pitfalls and successes in developing and teaching a course at the college level for the first time. Offers perspective of the librarian in the formal classroom.
