摘要:The article discusses the court case Shady Grove Orthopedic Associates, PA. v. Allstate Insurance Co. and analyzes whether it is based on the Erie Doctrine. Erie Doctrine states that if a federal court is hearing a state claim because it has diversity jurisdiction, the common law of the state applies. It also states that the Erie doctrine must be applied to resolve the conflict in the decision of federal court and Supreme Court.
