摘要：The article presents information on the expansion in the legislation of public charter schools and the school voucher programs. An analysis is conducted on the privately and publicly funded voucher programs based on a regression model. The adoption of charter school legislation, defensive political actions for deflecting the progress in school voucher and its interpretation is discussed. The influence of suburban political and economic interests is also discussed.
