  • 标题:Effects of Methanol Applications on Oil Content and Fatty Acid Composition of Sunflower (Helianthus annuus L.)

  • 摘要:In this study, leaves of sunflower cultivars named cv . C 207, cv . Coban and cv . KG-R-123 named were applied three different treatments as only water, 30 % and 40 % methanol. It was investigated the effects of treatments and cultivars on oil ratio and fatty acids components. Average oil ratios among treatments were ranged from % 43.93 to 45.97 and were not significant statistically. While the highest oil ratio (55.69 %) was obtained from 40 % methanol treatment in cv . Coban , the lowest value (29.47 %) was recorded in cv . KG-R-123 and 40 % methanol treatment among cultivars. Important fatty acids are linoleic , oleic, palmitic and stearic in sunflower. General average value of these fatty acids were found as 61.47 %, 25.9 5 %, 6.48 % and 4.19 %, respectively.
