摘要:Because the traditional methods are complex and time-wasting, researches have been focused on rapid methods to be used instead of them. ATP-bioluminescence techniques can be used for rapid enumeration of bacterial population in many products however, they are lack of specificity. On the other hand, rapid specific methods have been needed due to the worries about food-borne pathogens and specific detection methods have been developed by aiding of developments on molecular genetics. Last decade, bioluminescence methods using luminous bacteria or recombinant microorganisms carrying lux gene can be used many analytical applications besides detection of food-borne pathogens and indicator microorganisms.
