摘要:In this study, 82 white cheese samples collected from stores in and around İzmir city were assessed for the presence of L. monocytogenes. Two different enrichment techniques have been used for cold and warm conditions. Listeria colonies îo be isolated were obtained on two different nutritive media. As a result of biochemical and physiological test, 11 of 82 samples (13.4%) were found to be L monocytogenes positive. Better results were obtained by using cold enrichment and Oxford agar as nutritive medium. In all the samples E. aerogenes was dominant with E. coli in a lesser quantity.
