  • 摘要:In this study, some physical properties and oil, protein, moisture and ash content of tea seed were determined. In addition the amount of K, Mg, Ca, Mn, Zn, Fe, Na, and Cu were analyzed. Also the composition of fatty acid, refractive index, iodine number and saponification number of tea seed oil were determined. It was seen that the tea seed oil is similar to the olive oil with the content of 61.02% oleic acid, 19.58% linoleic acid, 16.40% palmitic acid, 1.69% stearic acid, 0.24% arachidic acid and 0.09% miristic acid.
