摘要:In this study Pb and Cd content of seven different classes of black tea, produced by ortodox method during three flushing period in 1995, were determined. The mean highest Pb value was found as 0.360 ppm in black teas from the first flushing period and the mean lowest Pb value as 0.237 ppm from the third flushing period. The content of Cd was the highest (0.242 ppm) in the teas obtained from the first flushing period and the lowest Cd content (0.186) was determined in black teas obtained from the third flushing period. Pb and Cd content of different classes of black teas were also showed significant differences. Pb content was the highest in the 1st class of tea with the 0.410 ppm mean value, the lowest in the 2th class of tea with the 0.245 ppm mean value; Cd content was the highest in the 4th class of tea with the 0.249 ppm mean value, the lowest in the 3rd class of tea with the 0.180 ppm mean value. It was determined that there were a significant effect of flushing period and different classes on the content of Pb and Cd of black teas.
